Fast & Furious 10: Who is Justin Lin, the former director of Fast X with Vin Diesel?

But who is Justin Lin?
Born in Taipei in 1971, it was in California that he graduated from the School of Cinema and Television (UCLA) after having tasted, very early, the pleasure of holding a camera. In 1996, he discovered for the first time the professional cinema world as a director of photography alongside director Quentin Lee on the film Flow. The duo continues its path on the film shoppings for Fang, but Justin Lin, in parallel, begins to write and make its first short films. It was not until 2003 that he made his first film. A director who has great ambitions
He put himself at the beginning of the 2000s behind the steering wheel of the Fast & Furious saga and replaced John Singleton at the foot. Fast and Furious: Tokyo Drift tells the story of Sean Boswell, an automobile racing enthusiast, who ends up having trouble with the police. To avoid prison, he goes to Tokyo, but meets Twinkie who makes him discover the drift, a clandestine mechanical sport prized in Japan. He thus meets the title holder and tries to defeat him. The film receives mixed criticism, but that does not prevent Justin Lin from making the following three films. The Fourth Fast and Furious is not unanimous either, but revives the saga. The filmmaker also tries his luck in science fiction with the film Star Trek: without limits (2016), the sequel to Star Trek (2009) and Star Trek Into Darkness (2013).
